Beatrice Alexander

Alexander, Bea, age 95, of Carlisle, passed away Wednesday, August 30, 2017 at Carlisle Manor Nursing Home. She was born January 6, 1922 in Hamilton, OH to Lee and Zilla (Plowman) Brandenburg. Bea was a member of the Middletown Highland Congregation of the Jehovah’s Witnesses for over 50 years and was active until her health no longer made it possible. Bea was a sweet, cheerful and loving person who had many friends both young and old. Earlier in her life she loved to travel. Her favorite things to do were camping, biking, gardening and garage sales with her dear family and friends. We would especially like to thank our extended family at Carlisle Manor for their loving care, support and kindness. Thanks to Hospice Care of Middletown. Our personal memories of Bea will be with us all of our lives. Bea is survived by her son, Robert (Gail) Alexander of Middletown; granddaughters, Tina Bruss, Trish Alexander; great-grandchildren, Coral and Jarrett Bruss. She is preceded in death by her parents; husband, Edgar Alexander; sisters, Ester Brandenburg, Dorothy Treadway, Mona Ward, Gladys Ballinger, Violet Brandenburg; brother, Freddie Brandenburg.
