Dorothy E. Webb

Webb, Dorothy E., age 90, of Middletown, passed away Monday, February 5, 2018 at Springhills Assisted Living facility. She was born July 19, 1927 in Middletown, OH to Raymond Hawkins and Emma (Wysong) Hawkins. Dorothy worked at McAlpin’s in the boy’s department for 34 years, and she made many life-long friendships with her co-workers and customers. She was a member of Christ United Methodist Church where she was active in her Sunday school class and assisted with preparing the newsletter. Dorothy is survived by her son, Larry Webb; daughter-in-law, Jennifer Webb; grandsons, Alex (Jennifer) Webb; Jonathan (Sarah) Webb; Zachary Webb; granddaughter, Rebecca Webb; great-grandchildren, Emily, Grady, Lillian, Lucas, Eleanor, Cole Jason, and numerous nieces and nephews. She is preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Paul Webb; step-father Walter Lamb; son, Gary W. Webb; brothers, Howard (Midge) Hawkins and Raymond (Mildred) Hawkins. The family would like to thank the many doctors, nurses and dedicated staff members of Mt. Pleasant Place, Springhills Assisted Living and Crossroads Hospice for their service and kindness. Services will be held Saturday, February 10, 2018 at Christ United Methodist Church with visitation from 9:00 – 11:00 am and the funeral service at 11:00 am with lead Pastor Norman Coleman II and Dr. Kent Hawkins officiating. Interment will be at Woodside Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to the Alzheimer’s Association, Cincinnati Society of the Blind, or Crossroads Hospice.
