Lewis Jr., James H., age 92, passed away, Friday, June 2, 2017 at University of Kentucky Medical Center. He was born February 4, 1925 to James and Rutha Lewis in Morgan Co., KY. He was a member of Tytus Avenue First Church of God, an Honorable Kentucky Colonel, loved wood working and repairing bicycles that he would give to children. Jim is survived by his wife of 71 years, Cleo Lewis of Middletown; children, David (Rita) Lewis of Roanke, VA and Patti (Mike) Spies of Middletown; granddaughter, Emily (Mike) Smith; great grandchildren, Hadley Beyland and Baron Smith and numerous nieces, nephews and cousins. He was preceded in death by his parents; 2 brothers; 4 sisters and granddaughter, Melissa S. Beyland. The visitation will be held on Wednesday, June 7, 2017 from 11:00 to 1:00 PM at the Baker-Stevens-Parramore Funeral Home, 6850 Roosevelt Ave., Middletown, OH 45005. The Celebration of Life services will follow on Wednesday at 1:00 PM at the funeral home with Pastor Damon Curtis officiating. Interment will take place at Woodside Cemetery.
