Lois Jane "Tootie" Moreland

Moreland, Lois Jane “Tootie”, 84 of Middletown passed away on Monday, December 25th at her residence. She was born on May 7, 1933 in Middletown to Buford & Martha Francis (Walton) Duff. Tootie was an active member of the Ladies Auxiliary of the VFW Post # 3809 for over 30 years, where she was past president for several years and was a member of the Eagles Lodge # 3458. She was an amazing cook, loved old movies and going to parties. Tootie is survived by her son, Charles (Nancy Mounts) Moreland; her daughter, Debra (Neil Reck) Moreland; 4 Grandchildren, Hannah (Tim Henderson) Reck, Ruth (Jonathan) Turner-Reck, Tyler and Courtney Moreland; Great-Grandson, Jack Dean Henderson and her uncle, William Winkle. She was preceded in death by her parents and her husband, Charles Ray Moreland. A Receiving of Friends will be on Tuesday, January 2nd from 5-700 pm at the Baker-Stevens-Parramore Funeral Home, 1500 Manchester Avenue, Middletown with a Memorial Service to follow at 7:00 pm with Dr. Dan Flory officiating.
