Michael Todd Chaney

Chaney, Michael Todd, age 51 of Middletown passed away on Sunday, September 3, 2017 at Cleveland Clinic. He was born on October 21, 1965 in Middletown, OH to Michael Chaney and Linda (Reffitt) Burus. Michael was a product designer at Deceuninck for 29 years and an inventor of 68 patents of windows, doors, and decking products. He was a member of Grace Baptist Church and Ace Car Club. Michael is survived by his wife of 24 years, Julie Chaney; daughter, Sarah Chaney; sisters, Mary (Gary) Webb and Kelly (Jesse) Gray; step-sister, Erin (Courtney) May; father, Michael (Krista) Chaney; mother, Linda (Bill) Burus; father-in-law, Don (Melaine) DeBorde, step-father-in-law, Michael Howerton and numerous nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his grandparents and mother-in-law, Joann Howerton. Visitation will be on Friday, September 8, 2017 from 6:00 -8:00 pm at Baker-Stevens-Parramore Funeral Home, 6850 Roosevelt Ave. Middletown, OH 45005 with a Celebration of Life Service also at the Funeral Home on Saturday, September 9, 2017 at 10:00 am with Pastor Lamar Ferrell officiating.
