Ruth Gambill

Gambill, Ruth Hall, age 101, of Middletown, passed away Thursday, August 10, 2017 at The Woodlands. She was born July 31, 1916 in Glendale, OH to George and Sarah (Parker) Hall. She worked in the efficiency department at Black Clawson for 14 years, also Spencer Jewelry Store for many years. Ruth was a member of St. John Church- Holy Family Parish. Ruth is survived by several nieces and nephews. A thank you to her special friends and caregivers, Linda Webb and Elaine McNabb. The family would like to also thank Woodland and Hospice Care of Middletown for their excellent care. She is preceded in death by her parents; husband, James W. Gambill; sisters, Gladys, Mildred, Ester, Edith, La Verne and Betty; brother, George. Visitation will be held Friday, August 18, 2017 from 11:00-11:30 am at Woodside Chapel. A Celebration of Life Service will follow at 11:30 am at the chapel with Father John Civille officiating. Inurnment will be at Woodside Cemetery.
