Sandy Owens

Owens, Sandy, age 73, of Trenton, passed away Thursday, June 1, 2017 at Woodland Country Manor. She was born August 27, 1943 in Middletown, OH to John and Margaret (Nickell) VanOstrand. She was a homemaker that loved to quilt, ceramics, decorating cakes, gardening and painting. Sandy was a member of Manchester Road Baptist Church and Beta Sigma Phi Master Sorority and Buckeye Guilt Guild. Sandy is survived by her husband of 57 years, Glenn M. Owens Jr.; children, Glenn “Bo” (Lashell) Owens III of Trenton, Christal Lynn (Steven) Bromley of Atlanta, GA, Lori Owens of Spencerville, Rebecca Morgan of Hamilton, Kelly (Daniel) Robertson of Middletown; 6 grandchildren; 15 great-grandchildren; sister, Cindra (Bill) Sears of Preble County and numerous nieces and nephews. She is preceded in death by her parents; brother, John William VanOstrand III; grandson, Joshua Morgan. A special thanks to the staff at Woodland Country Manor for all their wonderful care. Visitation will be held at Monday, June 5, 2017 from 5:00-8:00 pm at Baker-Stevens-Parramore Funeral Home, 6850 Roosevelt Avenue, Middletown, OH 45005. A Celebration of Life will be held Tuesday, June 6, 2017 at 10:00 am at the funeral home with Pastor Grant Lawrence officiating. Interment will be at Miltonville Cemetery.
