William Joseph Miller

Miller, William J. “Moose”, age 90, passed away Wednesday, August 16, 2017 at Tri County Extended Care. He was born April 28, 1927 in Mason, OH to Robert and Helen (Metty) Miller. He was a supervisor for the Conrail for 48 years, retiring in 1987. William served our country during WWII in the US Army with an honorable discharge. He was awarded the Asiatic – Pacific Theater Ribbon, World War II Victory Ribbon. William was a member of Masonic Lodge – Montgomery, Shriners Scottish Rite – Cincinnati, Eastern Star of Mt. Healthy. William is survived by his son, David (Joan) Miller; daughter, Susan (Roger) Doan; grandchildren, Rose, Andy and Taylor; great-grandson, Conrad. He is preceded in death by his parents; wife, Marian (Frietsch) Miller; brother, Robert Miller; sister, Bernadine Whitaker. A graveside service at Arlington Memorial Gardens will be held Tuesday, August 29, 2017 at 12:00 pm with Military Services and Masonic Services.
