Alfreda Terrill

Alfreda (Amburgey) Terrill passed away on Thursday, November 17, 2022 at Ohio Hospice of Butler and County. She was 86 years old. Freda was born to Lloyd and Callie Amburgey on January 23, 1936 in Pine Top, Kentucky. She met her life-long partner, Murl and moved from Buffalo Holler to Middletown, Ohio, where they raised their two children, John David and Lisa Ann. Freda spent 20 years as a seamstress, as well as a talented quilter and cross-stitcher. Her crafts can be found in homes of many, including those of her two children and five grandchildren. Freda was a loving grandmother who enjoyed Christmas, country music, shopping on QVC, and who made the most amazing peanut butter fudge. She was also an amateur photographer, leaving behind over 85 photo albums full of her favorite things: her flower beds, red birds, and her family. Freda was preceded in death by her husband Murl Terrill, parents, and brothers; Volley Amburgey and Von D. Amburgey. She is survived by her children, John (Roxie) Terrill, and Lisa (Jim) Rowland; her grandchildren, Jordan (Jennie) Terrill, Zachary (Farah) Terrill, Jimmy (Coryn) Rowland, Jessica Rowland, John Rowland; her great-grandchildren, Veda Rowland, Willa Rowland, Emilia Terrill, Ethan Terrill; and her siblings, Thelma Bentley of Middletown, Ohio, Dana (Kim) Haynes of Hazard, Kentucky, Walter Amburgey of Hazard, Kentucky. Visitation at Baker-Stevens-Parramore Funeral Home 6850 Roosevelt Avenue, Middletown 45005 will be Tuesday November 22, 2022 from 11:00 a.m. – 1:00 p.m. with Funeral Services on November 22, 2022 at 1:00 at the Funeral Home.
