Anna Downs

Downs, Anna, age 85, of Middletown, passed away Thursday, August 16, 2018 at Ohio Hospice of Butler and Warren County. She was born May 29, 1933 in Middletown to James Farmer and Martha (Krane) Mynhier. Anna was a PBX Operator for John Ross Store and a Bus Aide for Middletown Schools. Anna was a member of Breiel Blvd. Church of God. She was a Girl Scout leader; enjoyed time with the Teatime with God Ladies and traveled with the Keenagers. Anna is survived by her daughters, Virgena (Mark) Wilson, Kimberly (Benjamin) Homsher, Yolanda Fugett; 6 grandchildren; 2 great-grandchildren and many nieces and nephews. She is preceded in death by her parents; husband, Virgil Downs and 8 brothers and sisters. Visitation will be held Monday, August 20, 2018 from 11:00-1:00 pm at Baker-Stevens-Parramore Funeral Home, 1500 Manchester Avenue, Middletown, OH 45042. A Celebration of Life Service will follow at 1:00 pm at the funeral home with Pastor Adam Profitt officiating. Interment will be at Butler County Memorial Park.
