Barbara Redding

Redding, Barbara, age 82, of Franklin, passed away Thursday, January 16, 2020 at her residence. She was born January 5, 1938 in Youngstown, OH to Richard and Helen (Price) Sterling. Barbara was a RN at Miami Valley Hospital for 25 years and AK Steel Nurse for 10 years. Barbara is survived by her husband of 62 years, Philip Redding; children, Cheryl Redding of Middletown, Scott (Nicole) Redding of Monroe: grandchildren, Christopher, Nicholas, Samuel, Isabella, Jackson; brother, Richard (Barbara) Sterling. She is preceded in death by her parents; son, Jeffrey Alan Redding; brother, Robert Sterling; sister-in-law, Toshiko Sterling. Visitation will be held Saturday, January 25, 2020 from 11:00-1:00 pm at Baker-Stevens-Parramore Funeral Home, 6850 Roosevelt Avenue, Middletown, OH 45005. A Celebration of Life Service will follow at 1:00 pm at the funeral home with Pastor James Anderson officiating. Memorial contributions may be made to Hospice of Dayton, 324 Wilmington Avenue, Dayton, OH 45420. Entombment will be at Woodside Mausoleum.
