Ben Allen, age 81 of Trenton, Ohio passed away Sunday, October 10, 2021 at Fort Hamilton Hospital. He was born May 11, 1940 to Sheridan and Ida Allen in Oneida, Kentucky. He had lived in the Trenton area for the last 65 years. He served in the U.S. Army during the Vietnam War. He was honorably discharged in 1969. He was a machinist at Sorg Paper Company for 35 plus years, retiring in 2000. He was a member of Edgewood Baptist Church in Trenton, Ohio. Ben is survived by his loving wife, Stephania Gayle (Dougherty) Allen. They were blessed to be together for 27 years. Also surviving him are his daughters; Yvonne (Tim) Bolen, Sheila (Eric Ruder) Hilley, grandchildren; Nikki McGlossen, Taylor (Brandon) Perkinson, Logan (Becca) Bolen, Sienna Gentry, great granddaughter; Aurora Perkinson, brothers; Carl (Sharon) Allen, Sheridan (Kay) Allen, Jr., sisters; Margie Hacker, Agnes (Danny) Ward, Donna Allen, Kathy Roy, sister-in-laws; Ruth Allen, Rhonda Allen, Cathy (Virgil) Coffman, Yvonne (Ron) Gilbert, brother-in-laws; Carder (Skeeter) Sams, William (Crystal) Dougherty, Mike Dougherty, Jeff (Linda) Dougherty, numerous nieces and nephews. He is preceded in death by his parents, father-in-law; William Dougherty, Sr., mother-in-law; Agnes Dougherty, brothers; James Allen, Sam Allen, Brackie Allen, Paul Allen, and sisters; Dorothy McClure, Cecil Allen and Debbie Sams. Visitation will be Friday, October 15, 2021 at Baker-Stevens-Parramore Funeral Home 6850 Roosevelt Avenue, Middletown, Ohio 45005 from 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. Funeral services will be on Saturday, October 16 at Edgewood Baptist Church, 1010 West State Street, Trenton, Ohio 45067 at 10:00 a.m. with Rev.
