Betty Jo Hadley

Hadley, Betty Jo, age 84, of Monroe, passed away Wednesday, January 24, 2018 at Hospice of Butler and Warren County. She was born January 13, 1934 in Eagle Station, KY to Courtland and Florabel (Burton) Weldon. She was a teacher for Middletown City Schools for 27 years and Butler County for 3 years, retiring in 1997. She loved spending time with her family, pets / animals and was known for her pet sitting business. Betty Jo is survived by her sons, Robert D. (Kathy A.) Hadley, Donald L. (Joann) Hadley, John C. (Kathryn) Hadley; grandchildren, Katie, Kara, Ginny, Emily and Scott; sister-in-law, Verla Weldon; and numerous nieces, nephews and cousins. She is preceded in death by her parents; husband, William Arthur Hadley; brothers, Courtland Weldon Jr., Clifford C. Weldon, Grover K. Weldon, John P. Weldon; sister, Martha Scott Weldon Maddox; sister-in-law, Naomi Weldon. Visitation will be held Monday, January 29, 2018 from 10:00-11:00 am at Baker-Stevens-Parramore Funeral Home, 6850 Roosevelt Avenue, Middletown, OH 45005. A Celebration of Life Service will follow at 11:00 am at the funeral home. Memorial contributions may be made to Animal Friends Humane Society, 1820 Princeton Rd., Hamilton, OH 45011.
