Bill R. Martin

Martin, Bill R., age 78, of Middletown, passed away Saturday, May 27, 2017 at Heritage Springs of West Chester. He was born July 28, 1938 to Benny and Laura (Ketchem) Martin in Middletown, OH. He was a devoted husband, father and grandfather and loved the outdoors when he could go fishing, hunting and playing and watching softball. Bill is survived by his wife of 49 years, Helen Martin of Middletown, OH; daughter, Kim “T iger” Smith of New Bern, NC; step-daughters, Kennie Nolan and Teresa Bowman both of Frenchburg, KY; granddaughters, Mercedez and Alexiz Smith; brothers, Raymond Martin of Middletown, OH, Tony and Jerry Martin and sister, Janet Little all of Mt. Sterling, KY. He is preceded in death by his parents, brother and three sisters. Visitation will be held on Wednesday, May 31, 2017 from 9:00 to 11:00 AM at Baker-Stevens-Parramore Funeral Home 6850 Roosevelt Ave. The Celebration of Life service will follow on Wednesday at 11:00 AM at the funeral home.
