Blanche Perkins

Blanche (Whitt) Perkins, 93, of Monroe, OH born on November 5, 1927 to Mary Ellen (Neace) and Clinton Whitt in Hazard, KY died Friday, November 13 at Hospice of Butler and Warren Counties.

She married Alex Perkins on June15, 1946. She is survived by daughters Sue Lindon, Joyce Glascoe, Geri Blevins (Rick), Patricia Perkins Metz (Brian); son Doug Perkins (Pam); ex daughter-in-law Teresa Perkins: ex-son-in-law, Jerry Metz; 6 grandchildren; 1 grandson, Dustin (wife, Nikki ) Metz:: 15 great-grandchildren; 9 great-great children.

She is preceded in death by her husband, Alex; daughter Brenda Godby; granddaughter Rebecca Perkins; great-great granddaughter Makayla Farmer and eight siblings.

She enjoyed cooking for her family; especially biscuits and gravy, soup beans and cornbread. She also liked going to garage sales, thrift stores and antique stores.

Visitation will be held on Friday, November 20, 2020 from 12:00 - 2:00 PM. at Baker-Stevens-Parramore Funeral Home at 6850 Roosevelt Ave. The Celebration of Life service will follow on Friday at 2:00 PM at the funeral home with the Pastor Rick Carr officiating. Interment will take place at Butler County Memorial Park.
