Carol Anne Hoit

Carol Anne Hoit, 79 years old, passed away May 18, in Middletown, Ohio. She was born March 28, 1942 in Gratis, Ohio to Raymond and Alice (Koontz) Schul. She was the head cook at Edgewood City School. For years she was involved in the Card Club group and a bowling league. She liked to be outdoors. Her cats were like her babies, she loved them, but Carol loved everyone! She had a way of making you feel like part of her family, even if you weren’t. Her family meant the world to her, she loved them so much.

Carol is survived by her sons; Rex (Karen) Hoit and Doug Hoit, grandchildren; Brandon (Bridgette) Hoit, Daniel (Ashley) Hoit, Kelly (Tommy) Schroeder, Carrie (Tyler) Jordan, Samantha Hoit, and 8 great-grandchildren, brother, Bob (Joyce) Schul, sister, Shirley (Jim) Williams. She is preceded in death by her husband of 47 years, Charles Leroy Hoit, her parents, and daughter-in-law, Kimberly Hoit.

Visitation will be Saturday, Mary 22, 2021 from 11:00 am-1:00 pm at Baker-Stevens-Parramore 6850 Roosevelt Avenue Middletown, Ohio 45005. Celebration of Life Services are immediately following at 1:00 p.m. with Rev. Brandon Mountjoy officiating. Interment will be at Butler County Memorial Park on Monday, May 24.
