Carolyn Townsend

Carolyn Ann “Kay” Townsend, age 80, of Middletown, Ohio passed away Monday, March 1, 2021 at her residence. She was born July 27, 1940 in Middletown, Ohio to Edward and Kathryn (Dodson) Ryan.

Carolyn worked at different times as a cashier and machine operator. Her favorite job by far was being a house wife and mother.

She is survived by her children, Rebecca (Gary) Conley, Cynthia (Larry) Barnett, Sandra Jane Townsend, Teresa (Stan) Davis, Kenneth (Annette) Townsend, and Laura (Chris) Metcalf, numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren, and sister, Mary Yeary of Trenton, Ohio.

Carolyn is preceded in death by her parents, grandchildren; Michelle Reynolds, Samantha Townsend, Amy Reynolds, David Reynolds, and 9 brothers and sisters.

Visitation will be Friday, March 5, 2021 from 11:00 a.m. – 1:00 p.m. at Baker Stevens Parramore Funeral Home 6850 Roosevelt Ave. Middletown. Celebration of Life Services will be Friday, March 5 at 1:00 p.m. Interment will be at Woodside Cemetery.
