Cora H Spencer

Cora H. Spencer, age 89, of Trenton, passed away Saturday, March 31, 2018 at her residence with her loving daughters and son-in-law at her side. She was born July 9, 1928 in Tribbey, Kentucky to Hiram and Angeline (Ritchie) Ritchie. Cora attended Edgewood Baptist Church in Trenton. She retired from Avon Products where she was a line operator. She enjoyed flower gardening, growing “her” tomatoes, watching her birds and spending time with her family. She is survived by her beloved daughters, Barbara (Wayne) Terry and Linda Roehr; her precious grandchildren, Susan (Jeff) Conrad, Bryan (Cynthia) Hitch, Curtis (Mira) Hitch, Jennifer Whitaker and David Roehr; and her darling great-grandchildren, Justin (Ameris) Hitch, Kyle Conrad, Samantha Conrad, Helena Hitch, Jillian Whitaker, Katelyn Conrad, Jenna Whitaker, Jackson Whitaker, Spencer Hitch, Antigone Hitch and Ariadne Hitch and her beloved brother, Floyd Ritchie. She was preceded in death by her parents; the love of her life – her husband, John Spencer; her beloved daughter, Patti Hitch and beloved son-in-law, Steve Hitch; brothers Silas Ritchie, Elhanan Ritchie and Hershel Ritchie; sisters Dora Cox and Zoa Brock. The family would like to say a special Thank You to the caring and compassionate staff at Hospice Care of Middletown for making Mom’s journey home comfortable. Visitation will be held Thursday, April 5, 2018 from 11:00-1:00 pm at Baker-Stevens-Parramore Funeral Home, 6850 Roosevelt Avenue, Middletown, OH 45005. A Celebration of Life Service will follow at 1:00 pm at the funeral home with Pastor Keith Risner officiating. Interment will be at Butler County Memorial Park.
