Darlene R. Loux

Loux, Darlene Rossi, 12/20/1948-10/27/2017 of Franklin, Ohio passed away in Florida on October 27, 2017 after a long battle with MDS, a form of bone cancer. She was an identical twin (sister, Marlene) born in Gloversville, NY and adopted at an early age by James and Jean Rossi of Meco. She was preceded in death by Mr. and Mrs. Rossi, a half brother, Dale Reed and her biological father Edward Reed. Darlene was a licensed beautician in Gloversville, and Scotia, NY before moving to Ohio in 1987 where she worked at Luxottica and later as a waitress at Pizza Hut. Darlene is survived by her husband of nearly 48 years, Charles: children, Christopher (Jennifer), Todd (Heather) and Ryan: grandchildren: Cameron, Megan, Abi, Lindsey, Emma, Audra, Mya, Hannah, Elise and Elijah and great-grandson Carter and Forest: siblings: Marlene Newkirk (Al) in Florida, and a brother Gary Rossi (Linda) in New York as well as in-laws and nieces and nephews in Chicago, New York and Florida. Darlene was a loving wife and mother who loved family and her plants, her many Christmas decorations and her winter months in Florida. A service will be held on November 4, 2017. Burial will take place Saturday, November 18, 2017 at Woodhill Cemetery in Franklin Township, Ohio.
