David L. Elrod

David L. Elrod, 80 of Trenton, Ohio passed away at Hospice of Butler & Warren Counties on June 6, 2022. He was born on November 26, 1941 in Blue Diamond, Kentucky to Floyd Samuel and Alma (Burton) Elrod. David retired after 50 plus years of service from Graphic Packaging as an Assistant Superintendent. He was also a 50+ year member of Grace Baptist Church. Daivd was an avid woodworker, fisherman, traveler and loved the beach. He is survived by his wife of 60 years, Pat; his daughters, Karen (Fritz) Sunberg and Elaine Elrod; his grandchildren, Kelcie (Jeremy) Craig and David (Cheyenne) Mathis and great-grandchildren, Aunalyn “Jake” Craig and Gabriella Mathis. He was preceded in death by his parents; his sister, Gaynell Sears and two brothers, Billy Joe & Paul Douglas Elrod. David is in the care of Baker-Stevens-Parramore Funeral Home. Visitation will be on Friday, June 10 from 11:00 a.m. – 1:00 p.m. at Grace Baptist Church with Funeral Services also there at 1:00 p.m. Rev. Jim Winters will be officiating.
