Tribute

Dave King, 67 of Norwood passed away on Friday, March 18th at Hospice of Cincinnati Blue Ash. He was born on June 30, 1954, in Middletown, Ohio to William “Pappy” & Barbara “Mammy” (Owens) King. Dave was a lifelong musician & performer but also worked in insurance for Anthem Blue Cross/Blue Shield. He is survived by his wife, Cathy Allen-King; his children, Ashley, Tyler,  and Shelby King, and Chelsea Damico; Step-daughters, Jennifer (John) Shepard, Hollie Thompson, Allison (Ben Theiss) Allen, and Maggie Allen; 18 grandchildren; 2 brothers, Shane (Pam) King and Chris (Sheri) King and Numerous nieces, nephews and extended family. He was preceded in death by his parents; his brother, Tom King, and his daughter, Taryn King. A Receiving of Friends will be held on Thursday, March 24th, from 5:00 – 7:00 pm at the Baker-Stevens-Parramore Funeral Home (Roosevelt Location) with Memorial Services to follow at 7:00 pm with Pastor Stan Daniels officiating.
