Dean W Prushing

Prushing, Dean Wilson, age 90, of Hamilton, passed away Thursday, January 11, 2018 at Westover Retirement Community. He was born February 19, 1927 in Columbus, OH to David T. and Lily G. (Baker) Prushing. He served our country in the U.S. Army during WWII with an honorable discharge. Dean was a graduate of Otterbein College and retired from GE aircraft division. He was a dedicated member to First United Methodist Church for 60 years. Dean is survived by his children, Jim (Jayne) Prushing, Janis (Chris) Moore, Joanne (Peter) Johnson, and Joseph (Bethany) Prushing; grandchildren, Alison (Adam) Wall, Michelle (Michael) Fisher, Jennifer Prushing, Julian, Andre, Quinnell, and Gabriel Johnson, Joshua and Adelynn Prushing; great-grandchild, Macie Wall; sister-in-law, Bette Prushing. He is preceded in death by his parents; wife, Catherine (Hillard) Prushing and brother, Byron David Prushing. Visitation will be held Monday, January 15, 2018 from 5:00-7:00 pm at Baker-Stevens-Parramore Funeral Home, 6850 Roosevelt Avenue, Middletown, OH 45005. A Celebration of Life Service will be held Tuesday, January 16, 2018 at 10:00 am at the funeral home with Pastor John Wagner officiating. Interment will be at Butler County Memorial Park.
