Donald F Tipell

Donald F. Tipell, age 79, died Tuesday, May 4, 2021 at Hospice of Dayton. He was born September 16, 1941 in Piqua, Ohio to Donald and Helen (Sabota) Tipell. Don was retired from AK Steel after 39 years of service. He was a member of Jefferson Lodge F&AM and a Past Patron of Prosser Chapter OES. Don was proud to have been involved in starting the Madison Township (Middletown) soccer program and his high scores from his accomplished bowling leagues.

Survived by wife, Diane (Campbell); daughters, Donya Wright, Becky (Rusty) Wilson, and Natalie (Daron) Bare; son, Kelly Tipell and stepdaughter, Holli (Jason) Greene, grandchildren; Chris Wright, Danielle (Willy) Barnhill, Jacob Shay, Alexis Barker and Sierra Barker; step-grandchildren; Mindy Gambrell, Heather Amburgey, Seth Wilson, Zach Bare, Alysha Bare and Jacklyn Greene, great-grandchildren, Abigail, Addison and Greyson.
He was preceded in death by his parents and brother, Ron Tipell.
