Doris M. Rice

Rice, Doris M., 84 of Franklin passed away at her residence on Saturday, October 28th. She was born on November 6, 1932 in Greensboro, NC to Charlie Franklin & Mary Belle (Baker) McDaniel. Doris worked for 30 years for Water Refining/Echo Water and most recently for Kohl’s for 7 years. She loved to travel and visit lighthouses, loved flowers and gardening. She is survived by her husband of 66 years, Larry D. Rice; her 4 daughters, Deborah (Richard) Pelletier Jr., Judy Kaye Rice, Kathy (Bryan) Shoup Sr. and Donna Ruth Rice; her 5 grandchildren, Michael, Amanda, Angie, Samantha and Bryan Jr.; her 5 great-grandchildren, Shawn, Kilie, Aidin, Adysen and Raelynn Marie; her step-mother, Arlene Priore and half-sisters, Bonnie Taylor and Linda Ballard. Visitation will be on Tuesday, October 31st from 6-8:00 pm at the Baker-Stevens-Parramore Funeral Home, 6850 Roosevelt Ave., Middletown OH 45005 with a Celebration of Life Service also at the funeral home on Wednesday, November 1st at 11:00 am with Dan Flory, Celebrant officiating.
