Dorothy L. O'Hair

O’Hair, Dorothy Louise, 88 of Middletown, passed away on March 3, 2018 at River Oaks in Miamisburg, OH. She was born on May 8, 1929 in Slade, KY to William & Julia (Akers) Gilbert. Dorothy was a homemaker and a Member of the Breiel Blvd. Church of God, where she served as a Sunday School Teacher and Sunday School Superintendent. She is survived by her son, Thomas G. (Linda) O’Hair of Monroe; her grandchildren, Randy (Rachel) Bake, Kellie (Chad) Shepherd, Amy (Josh) Gartenman, Jeremy Profitt, Rebecca (Greg) Bryant, Tamara (Rudy) Harris, Julia Nicole (Matt) O’Hair; great-grandchildren, Jackson, Anderson, Gabriella, Chase, Collin, Caleb, Alexandra, Sterling, Boston and Dylan; sisters, Della Vanderpool, Corda Rapier and Gladys Stamper and her brother, John (Ann) Gilbert. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband of 71 years, on February 28, 2018, Thomas O’Hair; daughter, Brenda Bake and 4 siblings. Visitation will be held on Wednesday, March 7th from 11:00 am – 1:00 pm at Baker-Stevens-Parramore Funeral Home, 6850 Roosevelt Ave., Middletown, OH 45005. The Celebration of Life Services will follow at 1:00 pm with Chaplain Harry Stewart officiating. Interment will take place at Butler County Memorial Park.
