Gary Leon Osborne

Osborne, Gary Leon, 67 of Middletown passed away on Wednesday, July 18th at Hospice of Butler & Warren Co. He was born on September 26, 1950 in Middletown to Silas Leon & Bette L. (Short) Osborne. He is survived by Jenny Fox; Sisters, Kathy (Robert) Rettich and Ginger (Jim) Smith; his nieces and nephews, Robert (Jessica) Rettich IV, Ryan (Leslie) Smith, Jerry Smith, Acacia (Justin) Rettich Morrell, Abra (Rick) Rettich Reed and K. Alyse (Aaron) Rettich Newell; 7 Great nieces and nephews and close friend and Jenny’s Sister, Franny (Richard Jackson) Hafley. He was preceded in death by his parents. Gary was blessed to have been able to take his childhood passion of horses and make it a lifelong career. He was an avid horse trader and swapper. Gary also leaves behind a multitude of his “cowboy family” whom he loved and shared his passion with. Although Gary’s life seems all to brief, he did what he loved and lived life to the fullest.
