George Birch

George William Birch, 94, slipped into eternal bliss in the early morning hours of November 29, 2018. This hometown city boy born the baby of a large family on Casper Street in the Great Depression worked hard his whole life to provide for his darling country girl wife and their three children. George was proud to be born and raised in Middletown and to raise his family in the same town on a hope and dream. Waiting at the pearly white gates to greet him was his beautiful wife of 59 years, Louise, precious grandson, Brian Wray; his Mom and Pop including all of his brothers and sisters and Daughter-in-Law, Bo Birch. He is survived by his children Carol (David) Wray, Bill Birch, Doug (Pamela) Birch and his precious granddaughters Amy Wray and Betsy Wray. George enjoyed cracking jokes, working on his Ford cars, and instilling a strong work ethic in his children and granddaughters. Family and friends may visit on Tuesday, December 4, 2018 from 5:00-8:00 pm at Baker-Stevens-Parramore Funeral Home, 6850 Roosevelt Avenue, Middletown, OH 45005. A Celebration of Life will be held Wednesday, December 5, 2018 at 1:00 pm. Interment will be at Woodside Cemetery.
