Grace Allene Kidd

Kidd, Grace Allene, 87 of Middletown, passed peacefully in her sleep at her daughter’s home with her loving family by her side, in Kingston, TN on Sunday, January 19, 2020. She was born on April 28, 1932 in Campton, Wolfe County, Kentucky to Jeff & Myrtle (Lutes) Taylor. She and her husband, Armin David, were married November 8th, 1955, on his birthday. As a young woman she worked in her family’s restaurants before starting a family of her own. Grace’s love for her family is what defined her. Her grandkids & great grandkids were the true joys of her life. She always had a place at the table ready for family & friends. Her selfless nature and loyalty knew no bounds. Her optimistic spirit lifted people up when they needed it most. She enjoyed her time volunteering at the Hope House, her daily lunches out with her dear friend Eleanor and the countless adventures traveling with her little sister Rose Marie. She is survived by her daughters, Tracey (Roger) Mills & Carol (Tim) Wing both of Kingston, TN and her son Kirby of Middletown; 3 grandchildren, Sarah (James) Allison, David Wing and Matthew Goodlett; 3 Great-Grandchildren, Emily, Ashli & Izabella and her two sisters, twins Rose Nussbaum & Margie Miller. She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Armin David Kidd; her son, Armin David Kidd Jr. & her grandson Chad Goodlett; brothers & sisters: her twin Lillian Maxine, Mary, Courtney, Palace, Lula, Lizzie Lea & Leonard. Visitation will be on Monday, January 27, 2020 from 11:00 am – 1:00 pm at the Baker-Stevens-Parramore Funeral Home, 6850 Roosevelt Avenue with Funeral Services following at 1:00 pm with Pastor Roger Green officiating.
