Howard Smallwood

Smallwood, Howard, age 77, of Middletown, passed away Monday, September 30, 2019 at Atrium Medical Center. He was born September 6, 1942 in Cincinnati, OH to High and Bessie (Crase) Smallwood. Howard attended Calvary Pentecostal Lighthouse and loved riding his bicycle. He was an avid builder of birdhouses and doghouses and loved making crafts out of popsicle sticks. Howard is survived by his sisters, Betty Lou (Michael P. Stevens) Burton of London, KY, Marietta (Jim) Riley of Franklin; brothers, Kenneth (Shelly) Smallwood of Franklin, High Smallwood Jr. of Blanchester, Gene Smallwood of Mexico, Sherman Smallwood of Middletown and numerous nieces and nephews. He is preceded in death by his parents; grandparents, William and Martha Smallwood; brothers, Michael, Clarence and David Smallwood; twin nieces, Amanda Dawn and Amy Nicole Martel. Visitation will be held Thursday, October 3, 2019 from 11:00-1:00 pm at Baker-Stevens-Parramore Funeral Home, 6850 Roosevelt Avenue, Middletown, OH 45005. A Celebration of Life Service will follow at 1:00 pm at the funeral home with Rev. Terry Ball officiating. Interment will be at Butler County Memorial Park.
