Irma Bailey West

West, Irma (Bailey), 90 of Trenton passed away on July 5th at her residence. She was born on October 30th, 1927 in Middletown to Harry Sylvester & Deloris (Carroll) Bailey. Irma worked as a Secretary for the Middletown Public Schools and Butler Tech for 25 years, retiring in 1997 and she was also the secretary at Middletown Fire Headquarters. Most recently she attended Edgewood Baptist Church and was a piano teacher and played the organ for her churches for over 75 years. She is survived by her children; Deborah (Keith) Risner, Robyn (Terry) Kremer, Beverly Cory, Barbara (Steve) Shyers and Joseph West; 15 Grandchildren; 30 Great-Grandchildren; brother, Glenn (Jane) Bailey; Sister-in-Law, Joan Bailey and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents; her sister, Elaine Blount and her brother, Duane Bailey. Visitation will be on Tuesday, July 10th from 10:00 – Noon at the Baker-Stevens-Parramore Funeral Home, 6850 Roosevelt Avenue, Middletown, OH 45005 with a Celebration of Life Service to follow at 12 Noon with Pastor Keith Risner officiating.
