Obituary

Brewer, James Belford age 90, of Monroe, passed away Monday, March 26, 2018 at West Chester Hospital. He was born January 3, 1928 in Wolfe County, KY to Willie and Evalee Brewer. He served our country in the US Army during WWII with an honorable discharge. He worked for AK Steel retiring in 1990 after 35 years of dedicated service. He went on to be a consultant for Gallatin Steel in Kentucky for 4 years. James is survived by his wife of 64 years, Betty (Baker) Brewer; son, Paul (Dana) Brewer; grandsons, Jason and Michael Brewer; brother, Charles (Corliss) Brewer; sisters, June (Charles) Bowles, Wilda Smith, and Illa Gallaway. He is preceded in death by his parents, brother, Russell Brewer, and sister, Virginia Brewer. A private service will be held at the convenience of the family.
