James Robert Keister

Keister, James R. “Jim”, age 68, of Middletown, passed away Monday, September 23, 2019 at UC Hospital. He was born November 5, 1950 in Dayton, OH to James and Peggy (Meier) Keister. He was a supervisor/ caster at A K Steel for 30 years, retiring in 1999. Jim was a member of AK Care Group. Jim is survived by his wife of 44 years, Becky (Sorrell) Keister; daughter, Kari (Tim) Gibbs of Monroe; son, Jeremy (Christina) Keister of Trenton; grandchildren, Madison Gibbs, Peyton Gibbs, Kyle Keister, Lily Keister, Harper Keister, Everett Keister; sisters. Claudia (Greg) Wombold, Kristine (Chester) Belue, Kathy (John) Stubbs; numerous nieces and nephews. He is preceded in death by his parents and brother, Harold Keister. Visitation will be held Friday, September 27, 2019 from 4:00-6:00 pm at Baker-Stevens-Parramore Funeral Home, 6850 Roosevelt Avenue, Middletown, OH 45005. A Celebration of Life Service will follow at 6:00 pm at the funeral home with John Habig and Larry Sexton officiating. Interment will be at Germantown Cemetery.
