James Morton Miller

James “Mort” Miller, age 91 of Middletown, Ohio passed away June 17, 2020. He was born October 5, 1928 in Wolf County, Kentucky to Ulysses Grant and Ida Mae (Blair) Miller. Mort retired from the City of Middletown. He loved to go fishing and would fish every chance that he had. Mort was a wonderful father, grandfather, great grandfather and will be missed by many. He is survived by his children, Elizabeth Griffin, Demia Miller both of Middletown, Danny Miller of Milford; 15 grandchildren; numerous great-grandchildren; sisters, Martha Banks of Middletown, Marilyn (Mason) Toler of Franklin, Doris Rogers of Middletown. In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his wife, Sally Miller; sons, Ernie, Billy, Joe and Tony Miller; granddaughter, Kimberly Miller; sisters, Golden Brewer, Edna Collins, Samantha Jeffery; brothers, Bill Miller, Steve Miller, Alden Miller; and many other loving family members and friends. Visitation will be held on Monday, June 22, 2020 from 12pm-1pm at Baker-Stevens-Parramore Funeral Home, Roosevelt Chapel, with a Celebration of Life to follow at 1pm.
