James Moody

James Michael Moody, 52 years old passed away, Monday, May 24 2021 at Atrium Medical Center. He was born on December 20, 1968 in Columbus, Ohio to the late David Moody and Patricia (Barnes) Colflesh. He was a concrete foreman for DMT Construction. He took extreme pride in his craftsmanship in concrete work. James loved to take Mae on adventures on the Harley. Recently they were at Bike week in Daytona. It was quite common for them to flip a coin on places to go and adventures to ride to. He never met a stranger, and was a friend to everyone he met. Family was everything to him. He was a beloved pap and papaw.
James is survived by his wife of 29 years, his soul-mate, the love of his life, Mae (Larkin) Moody of Franklin, Ohio, children; Dustin Moody, Holly Moody, Molly Moody, and Macy (Cody) Moody –Waldron, grandchildren; Grayson and Elijah, numerous friends and family and his DMT Construction family and beloved fur baby, Mia. He is preceded in death by his parents and sister, Kimberly West.
Visitation will be Saturday, May 29. 2021 from 1:00 p.m. - 3:00 p.m. at Baker-Stevens-Parramore Funeral Home 6850 Roosevelt Avenue, Middletown. Celebration of Life Service will immediately follow at 3:00 p.m. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the college fund for his grandchildren.
