Evans, Jeanette, “J-Bird”, age 67, of Gilbertsville, KY, passed away Wednesday, April 25, 2018 at Western Baptist Hospital. She was born November 23, 1950 in Middletown, OH to Edgar and Juanita (Wills) Moore. She was a system technician for A T &T for 18 years and a legal secretary. Jeanette “J-Bird” is survived by her husband of 47 years, Ed Evans; children, Nikki Stempfley, Angie (Joe) Davis; grandchildren, Kaitlyn, Joey (Ashley), Zack (Emily), Chase and Karaline; great-grandchildren, Ella, L.J., Eddy, Aubrey, Carter, Tristan; siblings, Patty Sorrell, Suzanne James, Norma (Gary) Armstrong, Larry Moore. She is preceded in death by her parents and a brother, Edgar H. Moore. Visitation will be held Monday, April 30, 2018 from 10:00-12:00 pm at Baker-Stevens-Parramore Funeral Home, 1500 Manchester Avenue, Middletown, OH 45042. A Celebration of Life Service will follow at 12:00 pm at the funeral home with Rev. Roger Green officiating. Interment will be at Germantown Union Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, Jeanette would desire for donations to be made in support of her grandchildren’s medical needs: Karaline Type 1 diabetes care and Aubre Davis Cleft Palette reconstructive surgery.
