Marino, John, age 100, Our beloved PaPa John passed away peacefully surrounded by his loving family and friends on Thursday, September 6, 2018 at Spring Hill Assisted Living. He was born June 12, 1918 in South Union Township, Pennsylvania to Nicholas and Libera (Pallotto) Marino. He served our country in the US Army during WWII with an honorable discharge. Family and friends celebrated his 100th birthday in June. He was a devoted grandfather, loved to play golf, visit casinos, watch Kentucky Wildcats Basketball, and was a member of the Franklin American Legion. John is survived by his daughters, Judy (Ken) Blaylock of Upland, CA, Claudia Rhule of Carlisle, OH; grandchildren, Tana (Lee) Montgomery, John Chris (Tori) Rhule, Jeffrey (Mary Ashley) Rhule; great-grandchildren, Taryn Hidalgo, Nicole Sandford, Ashlynn Gould, Evan, William, Christopher, Thomas, Kimberley, and Nathan Rhule; several nieces and nephews. He is preceded in death by his parents, Nicholas and Libera (Pallatto) Marino; wife, Daisy M. Marino; brothers, Joseph and George Marino; sisters, Mary Moorhouse and Angelina Summa. Visitation will be held Monday, September 10, 2018 from 11:00-12:00 pm at Woodside Cemetery Chapel. A Celebration of Life Service will follow at 12:00 pm at the Chapel with Rev. Randy Montgomery and Deacon John Lyons officiating. Interment will be at Woodside Cemetery.
