John Edward Sheehan

Sheehan, John, age 93, of Cincinnati, passed away Monday, August 27, 2018 at Bethesda North Hospital. He was born August 26, 1925 in Cincinnati, OH to John and Edith (Roehm) Sheehan. He served our country in the US Navy during WWII with an honorable discharge. He was an civil engineer for Ohio Department of Transportation, retiring after 30 years of service. He was Vice President of Balke Engineers in Cincinnati. John was a member of St. John Church – Holy Family Parish. John is survived by his wife of 65 years, Patricia Louise (Bunnell) Sheehan; children, Bob (Mary) Sheehan, Kevin Sheehan, Pam (Jeff) Laber; grandchildren, Brian Laber, Sean Laber, Jenny Sheehan, Michael Sheehan; great-grandchild, Faith Laber; sisters, Joann McDevitt, Beth Sheehan; brother, Donald Sheehan, James Sheehan. He is preceded in death by his parents; son, Michael Sheehan; brother, Robert Sheehan; sisters, Virginia Sheehan, Rosemary Welage and Patricia Weber. Visitation will be held Saturday, September 1, 2018 from 10:00-11:00 am at Baker-Stevens-Parramore Funeral Home, 1500 Manchester Avenue, Middletown, OH 45042. A Mass of Christian Burial will follow at 11:30 am at St. John Church – Holy Family Parish with Father John Civille officiating. Interment will be at Woodside Cemetery.
