Joseph Neil Back

Back, Joseph Neil, age 76, of Madison Township, passed away Tuesday, November 07, 2017 at Arlington Pointe Nursing Home. He was born September 14, 1941 in Rosefork, Campton, KY to Jolly James and Eliza Esther (Shockey) Back. He worked in TR Maintenance for A/K Steel for 31 years, retiring in 2002. Joseph was a member of Moose #501, Eagles #528 and C.A.R.E. He attended Turning Point Church. He was a wonderful husband, father, brother, grandfather, uncle, great-grandfather and a friend to all who knew him. He was instrumental in creating the Madison Knothole Association and a member of the 1st Madison Life Squad. Joseph is survived by his wife of 58 years, Connie (Bronnenberg) Back; children, Anita (Jack) Perry, Randy (Julie) Back, Denise (Casey) Weidner; grandchildren, Ryan (Jessica) Perry, Tarrah Perry, Brandon (Heather Fox) Perry, Stephanie Stanley, Josh (Jenni Kelsey) Stanley, Melissa Kennard, Nicklaus Weidner, Abigayle Weidner; 8 great-grandchildren; siblings, Wanda Wills, Glenna Dunn and James (Jo Collins) Back; several nieces and nephews. He is preceded in death by his parents; brother, Winifred Back. Visitation will be Sunday, November 12, 2017 from 3:00-6:00 pm at Baker-Stevens-Parramore Funeral Home, 6850 Roosevelt Avenue, Middletown, OH 45005. Another visitation will be held Monday, November 13, 2017 from 10:00-11:00 am at the funeral home with a Celebration of Life Service to follow at 11:00 am with Pastor Greg Cox officiating. Interment will be at Pleasant Hill Cemetery.
