Joyce Mays

Mays, Joyce, age 60, of Middletown, passed away Sunday, August 19, 2018 at Atrium Medical Center. She was born May 4, 1958 in Middletown, OH to James and Mary (Adkins) Amburgey. She a devoted wife, mother and a homemaker who loved her home. She volunteered at the Veterans Memorial Museum Foundation and supported the Veterans. She collected antique coverlets and enjoyed music. Joyce is survived by her husband of 38 years, Roger J. Mays; children, Justin R. Mays, Jerrod W. Mays both of Middletown; parents, James and Mary Amburgey of Middletown; brother, Donald (Suzanne) Amburgey of Monroe; 1 niece and 1 nephew. A Receiving of Friends will be held Friday, August 24, 2018 from 5:00-7:00 pm at Baker-Stevens-Parramore Funeral Home, 6850 Roosevelt Avenue, Middletown, OH 45005.
