Workman, Leatha Helena, age 76, of Middletown, passed away Saturday, August 3, 2019 at Atrium Medical Center. She was born July 28, 1943 in Middletown, OH to Ray and Lena (Powell) Viars. She was a gown folder for Repack Surgical for 5 years. Leatha is survived by her mother, Lena (Powell) Viars; sons, Kenneth (Michelle) Workman, Anthony (Darcy) Workman, Scott (Annette) Workman; daughter, Sue Carter; grandchildren, Kent, Andy, Makayla, Chandler, Samantha, Brandon, Madison Workman, Lisa Elliott and Ashley Shephard; step-grandson, Zachary Bare; great-grandchildren, Kaylynn Miller, Zachary Workman, Ryan Miller, Daylynn Leiman, Alyssa Spencer, Zoe Fowler, Kennedy Workman, Alex Workman, Logan Workman; brothers, Phillip, Dennis, Ricky Viars; sisters, Judy Schoonover, Carlene Brooks, Candace English. She is preceded in death by her father; husband, Norman D. Workman; brothers, Victor Viars, Stanley Viars; sister, Brenda Viars. Visitation will be held Thursday, August 8, 2019 from 11:00-1:00 pm at Baker-Stevens-Parramore Funeral Home, 6850 Roosevelt Avenue, Middletown, OH 45005. A Celebration of Life Service will follow at 1:00 pm at the funeral home with family members officiating. Interment will be at Woodside Cemetery.
