Louise Swain

Swain, Louise, age 93, of Middletown, passed away Saturday, October 13, 2018 at Woodlands of Middletown. She was born September 5, 1925 in Middletown, OH to Elmer and Myrtle (Cottingim) Sorrell. She worked in production at Aeronca and was a member of Enterprise Baptist Church. Louise is survived by her sons, Rick (Mary) Swain, Ed (Peggy) Swain, and daughter, Darlene Swain; 5 grandchildren; 15 great-grandchildren; special friend Carol Brewer. She is preceded in death by her parents; husband, Virgil Swain; son, David Allen Swain; sisters, Lorine Sorrell, Georgia Faries; brothers, Dee, Paul, and Calvin Sorrell; daughter-in-law, Krista Swain. The family would like to give a special thanks to all of the staff and friends Louise had at Woodlands for their special care and love. Visitation will be Wednesday, October 17, 2018 from 5:00-7:00pm at Baker-Stevens-Parramore Funeral Home, 1500 Manchester Ave. Middletown, OH 45042. A Celebration of Life Service will be held Thursday, October 18, 2018 at 11:00 am at the funeral home with Pastor James Anderson Officiating. Interment will be at Woodside Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, Memorial Donations may be made to Hospice of Miami Valley, 6820 Roosevelt Ave. Franklin, OH 45005 in Memory of Louise.
