Marshall Haddix, 83 of Middletown passed away on Tuesday, January 12, 2021 at Sycamore Hospital. He was born on June 23, 1937 in Jackson, KY to Logan & Rosie (Howard) Haddix. Marshall worked as a machinist for 45 years for General Tool Co. and Magna Machine, retiring in 2007. He was a member of Poasttown Church of God, was an avid fisherman, hunter and loved his beagles. He loved family gatherings, camping and swinging on his front porch. He is survived by his wife of 7 years, Deemie; children, Tina (Perry) Kendrick, Ramona Elkins, Marsha Sebastian and James Marshall (Dondi) Haddix; 8 grandchildren, James Ryan Haddix, Amber Sue Henry, Christopher Sebastian, Hannah Kendrick, Cody Sebastian, Sarah Mann, Lacie Haddix and Wyatt Haddix; 4 great-grandchildren, Ashtyn Haddix, Rylynne Haddix, Maverick Mann and Jameson Mann; 2 brothers, Orville and Greg Haddix and two sisters, Margie Bray and Jalia Hollon, several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents; first wife of 35 years, Ann Louise (Hodge) Haddix; 3 sisters, Eurchel Arnett, Enith Rose and Shrilda Overbee and 2 brothers, Huel and Henley Haddix. The family would like to express a special “Thank you” to Mike Scholl, his caregiver for all the care and support given to Marshall. Visitation will be on Tuesday, January 19th from 11:00 am – 12:00 pm at Baker-Stevens-Parramore Funeral Home, 1500 Manchester Avenue Middletown with Funeral Services to follow at 12:00 pm with Rev.
