Matthew John Hess

 Hess, Matt, age 34, of Middletown, passed away Saturday, September 15, 2018 at his residence. He was born January 15, 1984 in Middletown, Ohio to Michael Hess and Tamara (Griffin) Sizemore. Matt was a devoted and loving father. He was also an avid fisherman, and enjoyed landscaping. Matt is survived by his children, Madison Hess, Brenton Hess, Gage Hess; mother, Tamara Sizemore; brother, Chris Hess; sister, Elizabeth Hess; mother-in-law, Wendy Whitt; and many other loving family members and friends. He is preceded in death by his father Michael Hess; and his daughter, Hayden Hess. Visitation will be held Tuesday, September 18, 2018 from 5:00-8:00 PM at Baker-Stevens Funeral Home, 6850 Roosevelt Ave. Middletown, OH 45005. A Celebration of Life Service will be held on Wednesday, September 19, 2018 at 11:00 AM at the funeral home with Pastor Rodney Griffin officiating. Interment will be at Woodside Cemetery.
