Mazie Lykins

Lykins, Mazie, age 91, of Franklin, passed away Sunday, September 24, 2017 at Otterbein Nursing Home. She was born February 22, 1926 in Pikeville, KY to Ezra and Ethel (Ledford) Brewer. She was a homemaker. Mazie was a member of Towne Blvd. Church of God and Red Lion United Methodist Church. Mazie is survived by her son, Bob (Karen) Lykins of Franklin; grandchildren, Donna (Jason) Grubb, Crystall (John) Weidle, Kandy (Brian) Nicely, Kelly (Jeremiah) Henson, Luke (Amanda) Lykins; 20 great-grandchildren; 8 great-great-grandchildren; sister, Catherine Deaton and numerous nieces and nephews. She is preceded in death by her parents; husband, Luther Lykins; daughter, Betty Byrum; great grandson, Uriah James Lykins; brother, Marvin (Buddy) Brewer. Visitation will be held Thursday, September 28, 2017 from 10:00-12:00 pm at Bakers-Stevens-Parramore Funeral Home, 6850 Roosevelt Avenue, Middletown, OH 45005. A Celebration of Life Service will follow at 12:00 pm at the funeral home with Rev. Doug Kraus officiating. Interment will be at Woodside Cemetery.
