Michael Lee Thomas

Michael Lee Thomas, 68, passed away on Sunday, April 7, 2024.  Beloved husband of Janet Lee Thomas. Devoted son of Leah Nell Thomas and the late William H. Thomas. Loving father of Christopher (Barbara) Thomas, Ryan (Imana) Thomas, and Kristen (Elizabeth) Thomas.  Dear grandfather of Vincent Bathalter, Ryder Quatkemeyer, and Riley Quatkemeyer. Michael leaves behind his mother-in-law Elizabeth K. Toft and his brother-in-law Andrew Toft. Michael “Hammer” retired from AK steel after 45 years.  He also enjoyed crossword puzzles, riding his bicycle, working in the yard, traveling, beaches, concerts, and was an avid Ohio State Buckeye fan.  Visitation is Saturday, April 13, 2024, from 10:00 AM until time of service at 11:00 AM at Monroe Church of the Nazarene, 400 Macready Ave., Monroe, Ohio 45050.  Burial will follow in Lebanon Cemetery.  Contributions may be made to Hospice of Butler and Warren County in his memory.  The family would like to extend a special thanks to the staff at hospice, Atrium Compton Medical Center, the Neighbors of Red Fox Run, and the Monroe Nazarene Church.
