Michael Alan Wells

Michael Alan Wells, of Middletown, passed away peacefully Monday, August 20, 2018 at VA Medical Center in Dayton, OH. He was born on November 11, 1950 in Dayton, OH to Eugene Wells and Wilma (Holmes) Wells. He served our country in the US Marine Corps during Viet Nam War with an honorable discharge; Michael received his Bachelor’s degree from Miami University. He was an avid golfer and animal lover. He loved his family and friends, history and travel. Michael is survived by sons Rommel (Emily) Wells of Cincinnati, Logan Wells of Cincinnati; grandchildren Miette, Alaister and Helen Wells; brother Kenneth (Janice) Wells of Madison Township; sisters, Vicki (Bill) Kimpton of Reynoldsburg, Donna May Morton of Madison Township, Debb Ranson of Germantown; significant other Maxine Potts of Middletown; and many nieces, nephews and friends. He is preceded in death by his mother and father and brother Richard Wells. Family will receive friends on Thursday, August 23, 2018 from 4:00-6:00 pm at Baker-Stevens-Parramore Funeral Home, 6850 Roosevelt Avenue, Middletown, OH 45005. A Celebration of Life Service will follow at 6:00 pm at the funeral home with Dan Flory –Celebrant officiating.
