Blanton, Mildred I., 91 of Middletown passed away on Wednesday, December 19th at Arlington Pointe. She was born on February 25, 1927 in Middletown to William Albert & Minnie Lou (Renfro) Creekbaum. Mildred was a manager for Fall’s and Gough-Lamb Dry Cleaner’s as well as the manager at Elite’s Ice Cream in Trenton. She was a long time member of the Towne Blvd. Church of God. Mildred is survived by her daughter, DiAnn (Jim) Dailey; her son, Leonard Blanton; her granddaughters, Tonia D. (Paris) Williams and Becky L. (Kevin) Hoffer and 5 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Harold L. and her brothers and sisters. The family would like to express a special “Thank You” to Arlington Pointe and Hospice of Dayton for the excellent care they took of Mildred. Visitation will be on Saturday, December 22nd from 9-10:30 am at the Baker-Stevens-Parramore Funeral Home, 6850 Roosevelt Avenue, Middletown, OH 45005. A Celebration of Life will follow at 10:30 am also at the funeral home. Interment will be at Woodside Cemetery. Memorial Contributions may be directed to Hospice of Dayton.
