Louise Armstrong

Mona Louise Armstrong, age 80 passed away on Friday, September 11, 2020 at Atrium Medical Center. She was born on June 3, 1940 in Buckhannon, West Virginia to Russell and Mabel Jackson. She was working full time at Hawthorn Glen Nursing Home. She loved her time working with the residents at the nursing home, it brought her so much joy. She really enjoyed keeping up with her sports. She was a member of the Grace Baptist Church and loved teaching the girls and boys about the Lord. Louise was preceded in death by her 3 brothers and 1 sister and her spouse, Frank Armstrong. She is survived by her daughters, Patty (Mike) Olson and Jennifer (Warren) Abrams; 4 grandchildren, Steven (Deanna) and Danielle Spooner and Xavier and Eion Abrams; 2 step-grandchildren, Katie and Zach Olson; 2 great-grandchildren, Logan and Lilly Spooner and 5 step great-grandchildren, Alexis, Ayden, Austin, Daxton and Zane. Visitation will be on Tuesday, September 15, 2020 from 6-8:00 pm at the Baker-Stevens-Parramore Funeral Home (Manchester Location) with Funeral Services on Wednesday, September 16th at 11:00 am also at the Funeral Home.
