Newell Dyer

Dyer, Newell, age 76, of Middletown, passed away Friday, January 05, 2018 at Hill Spring Nursing Home. He was born February 22, 1941 in Magoffin, KY to Beverage and Bertha (Williams) Dyer. He was a general labor for Middletown Paper Board for 18 years, retiring in 2003. Newell was a member of Mercy Point Church of God. The family would like to say thank you for Hospice of Dayton. Newell is survived by his wife of 52 years, Rosetta (Vititoe) Dyer; children, Keri (Elliott) Mayhon of Middletown, Greg (Sara) Dyer of Middletown, Steven (Salena) Dyer of Hamilton; 6 grandchildren; 3 great-grandchildren; siblings, Herman (Lois) Dyer of KY, Gerald (Phyllis) Dyer of KY, Paul (Jean) Dyer of OH, Esther (Bill) Maddox. He is preceded in death by his parents; brothers, Earl Dyer, Virgil Dyer, Vernon Dyer; sister, Eula Howard. Visitation will be held Tuesday, January 9, 2018 from 10:00-12:00 am at Town Church. A Celebration of Life Service will follow at 12:00 pm at the church with Pastor Jeff Marshall officiating. Interment will be at Rosehill Cemetery.
