Lepe, O. Lee, age 85, of Vandalia, passed away Friday, July 7, 2017 at Walnut Creek Nursing Home. She was born April 16, 1932 in Salyersville, KY to Kelly and Sally (Dyer) McFarlan. Lee came to Dayton shortly after high school and worked at Bell Telephone Company. Later she worked at WPAFB where she met the love of her life Sal, whom she was married to for 63 years. Years later she worked for TWA reservations in downtown Dayton, Elder Beermans and finally at the Vandalia Public Library where she retired. Lee was a member of St. Christopher Church in Vandalia, OH. Lee is survived by her sons, Thomas “Tom” (Barb) Lepe of St. Charles. MO, Matthew “Matt” (Linda) Lepe; daughter, Denise Lepe - Perkins of Monroe; grandchildren, Maricela (Andrew) Nickell, Tonya Legate, Asa Legate; great-granddaughter, Rowan Nickell; brother, Larry McFarlan of Salyersville, KY,; sister, Martha Sue (Howard) Patrick of Salyersville, KY and several nieces and nephews. She is preceded in death by her parents; husband, Salvador Lepe in April of 2017; brothers, Charles, Howard, Gary, Bill McFarlan; sister, Connie Conn. Visitation will be held Friday, July 14, 2017 from 6:00-8:00 pm at Baker-Stevens-Parramore Funeral Home, 6850 Roosevelt Avenue, Middletown, OH 45005. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held Saturday, July 15, 2017 at 11:00 am at St. John Church – Holy Family Parish.
